Plastic surgery is one of procedures in medical process. It was a huge success in giving someone a new life. It was use to correct unattractive facial features that can attract ridicule as they were generally accepted. Unlike special patient who undergo plastic surgery to repair their unattractive features, teenagers do plastic surgery to fit in without realising the effect in the future. There is other type of plastic surgery that doesn’t involve cutting and stitching such as the use of special lasers to remove unwanted hair and sanding skin to improve severe scarring.

While accessing the cost of plastic surgery, people often tend to take into account the cost of the surgery only, and completely overlook the unexpected cost that can arise from postoperative complications. Individuals also forget to consider the cost of postoperative medications, which can’t be avoided, as it can result in further complications.

c) According to Credit Financing Guru (2009)

  • This may mean that a loan or other finance is required to pay for the desired surgery. Whereas a year ago, cosmetic surgery loans were readily available, the credit crunch has forced lenders to tighten their lending criteria significantly. This means that finance is harder to obtain, however it is not impossible to secure a loan if you have a clean credit history, can demonstrate the ability to repay the loan, as determined by employment status and family circumstances.
